    The Magimix story all started back in 1961 when Pierre Verdun, a butcher from Montceau les Mines, a small village located in the heart of Burgundy and Robert Comte created the first food preparation machine - a blade in the bottom of a pot!

     

    The original idea was to create a single machine that could perform a variety of routine tasks for professional chefs. Things like chopping, grinding, kneading and shredding. The invention was patented and the first multi-function food processor in the world was born.
